Who Are Minotaur?
The Minotaur Theatre Company is an independent theatre company run exclusively by the Drama Students of the University of East Anglia (Drama, Drama & Creative Writing, Drama & Lit). Established in 1979 (although some people do debate that), MTC aims to produce and deliver to audiences a variety of high quality shows every year to display the skills of its unbelievably talented members, all while cultivating an environment which allows those skills to be nurtured, developed or perhaps even discovered by those who hold them. MTC, helmed by an elected committee of dedicated second year students, offers opportunities to all UEA Drama Students to perform, write and work backstage throughout the year, all the way from The Creative Writing Slot at the beginning of the academic year through to the Minotaur Fringe slot in the summer. Everyone here at Minotaur takes great joy in welcoming new members and audiences each year and we can’t wait for you to see what we’ve got coming up!
