Shorts Festival
One of Minotaur Theatre’s crown jewels, the Shorts Festival sees 12 student written short plays performed across 3 nights all directed, produced and performed by Minotaur members every autumn. The plays are all submitted and selected by the incoming committee in the run up to the new academic year. The festival is a fantastic introduction to Minotaur for new students and presents a high quality, wide range of theatre to audiences. From comedy to horror, murder mysteries to gritty dramas, Shorts has it all while allowing as many students as possible to leave their own distinct creative mark at Minotaur’s wonderful home, the UEA Drama Studio.

Minotaur’s Shorts Festival is back and better than ever! 9 student written and directed shorts plays performed across 3 nights (23rd-25th October) at the UEA Drama Studio. This year our Shorts Festival has everything from easy-going comedy all the way to suspenseful sci-fi. With a team of over 40 cast and crew we can’t wait for you to see what we’ve got in store!
